In partnership with Rocky Mountain School of Photography, I’m offering a workshop along California's stunning Redwood Coast this spring. We'll spend four days photographing some of the most magnificent trees on the planet! There is nothing quite like wandering through an old-growth redwood forest. We'll be visiting groves throughout the Redwood National and State Park system including the Del Norte, Prairie Creek, and Jedediah Smith areas.
From scenic drives to easy walks, we'll time our photo shoots to be out early and late in the day, when the light is at its best. Spring also gives us a very good chance to capture blooming rhododendrons and fog in the Redwoods, making it an extra special time to visit this area.
As amazing as the redwood trees are, we'll also take in the other scenic gems this area has to offer including beautiful coastal views, rivers, wildflowers, and a lighthouse. You'll come away with a wide range of landscape photos, from iconic views to subtle details. This workshop will give you the chance to build your landscape photography skills with a small group of fellow photographers, while immersing yourself in nature's finest.
